AUSTRALIAN POLITICS.

NEW SOUTH WALES PARLIAMENT. Sydney, August 2. The Liberals had a sample of Labour’s troublous times, when Mr J. Miller placed his resignation in Mr Wade’s hands, owing to Mr Wade stating that Mr Stiller had not ‘played the game” in voting for the second reading of the Hon. G. S. Lee by s Industrial Bill. Explanations followed, and the resignation went no further. Mr Macdonnell has been nominated for the vacancy at Cobar caused through his absence from Parliament. The contests for Mudgeo and Liverpool Plains will ho fought straightout between the Liberal and Labour parties.
