LIONEL TERRY.

(Per Press Association.) Wellington, August 3. Mr J. L. Kelly, oi' Ashburton, advises that more than half the lists for the petition for Lionel Terry’s release have not been sent hack to him. Those received contain nearly 3000 signatures. Dunedin is first with 782. Mr Kelly asks that all sheets be returned to him by Saturday next.
