Smaller sums have been placed on the heads of the ex-Shah’s brothers, Salared, Owleh and Shnares. The Government have appointed Major Stokes, of the Indian Army, to reorganise the troops. The appointment lias occasioned surprise in Russian quarters. The Minister made Urgent representations against the appointment. If persisted in, Russia, he said, would take other measles.
