THE PLOT FAILED. (Received 2, 8.10 a.in.) New York, August V. Three armed and masked men entered the National Bank at Harlem, Montana, covered the officials with revolvers, and filled a sack with gold and notes. One robber accidentally discharged a revolver, and the report brought the State marshal, who shot a robber dead. The others mounted their horses and fled. A posse is purusing them.
