Mi- Pointer, Labour member for Attorcliffe division, Sheffield, writing to a Labour newspaper, accused the Speaker of being a miserable, pitiable failure in dealing with the occasion upon which Mr Asquith was shouted down. Mr Lockwood, Unionist member for Epping, raised the question in the Commons, and 3lr Pointer apologised and withdrew.
