NEW SOUTH WALES. NO FRESH DEVELOPMENTS. Sydney, July 28. There arc no important developments in the political situation today. A cable from Mr McGowen is still awaited. The caucus, at a lengthy meeting, discussed the situation. It is understood they decided, with a view to the by-election, that am addition be made to the Conversion Act Repeal Bill for safeguarding all existing rights of conversion. It is reported that Mr Neilson opposed this decision.
