FAREWELL BANQUET. (Per Press Association.) Wellington, July 28. The Irish delegates were accorded a farewell banquet last night. Mr Donovan, in responding to the toast of the guests, said Now Zealand had given nearly £IO,OOO. Mr Hazleton made sympathetic reference to the death of Mr Taylor, who had impressed him as one of the greatest of New Zealand’s sons.
