o ■ At the meeting of the Girl Peace Scouts on Thursday Dr. Steven gave, his final lecture, the subject being the ttso of the stretcher. The girls went through a useful practice bi artificial respiration by the methods of Professor Schafer, and .Dr. Sylvester .At the close of tire lecture a hearty vote of thanks expressing the Scouts’ gratitude to Dr. Steven was carried unanimously, on the motion of Mrs. Mackay, seconded by Scout Hildreth. The Scouts will not meet, during the coming month iii view of the Fire Brigade ball.'
