ACCIDENTS & FATALITIES.

(Per Press Association.! Dunedin, July 20. A fatal accident occurred this evening, when Alex. Cunningham, 13 .-ears of ago, was accidentally shot load. The boy was playing in a '.eighbour’s yard with two mates at die game of “American Cowboys.” Deceased had a Winchester rifle, ivdiich he knew to be loaded. He was ibout to enter, but before doing so he threw the rifle on the ground. The concussion caused the charge to exolode, and the bullet entered the deceased’s head just behind the right ear. He died within a few minutes. Wanganui, July 20. There is no sign of the body of the missing man Hartcher.
