DAIRY PRODUCE.
lirell PRICES EXPECTED. (T'er Press Association.) Dunedin, July 20. The secretary of the South Island Dairy Association has received a cable from London stating that owing to the .serious drought in Britain, the Continent, and Siberia, and the heat in the United States and Canada, high prices are expected for dairy produce next season. Mr. Scott takes this to apply more particularly to heese, and does not anticipate butter will exceed lid per lb. f.o.b.—a satisfactory enough price for New Zealand producers, the London equivalent of which will bo about 12R1 wholesale.
