ALLEGED THEFTS.

(Per Bioss Association.) Wellington, July 19. An extensive series of alleged thefts from warehouses will be investigated at the Police Court next week. Today Allan Leo, bonded storeman for W. and G. Turnbull, Alfred Smith, carrier, and bis brother Bertie Smith, storekeeper, and Ernest Chas. Gregory,under remand for theft from A.S. Paterson, were charged with stealing and receiving goods rained at about £l2O, the property of Patersons and Turnbulls. The prosecution alleges that accused connived together to rob the warehouses in question. All accused were remanded till J uly 26th on substantial bail.
