BURNED TO DEATH.
FATE OF AN AGED WOMAN (Per Press Association.) Wellington, July 19. Catherine Lundy, widow, aged 80 ears, who was living with an unmarried daughter in rooms in Drummond Street, was found lying dead a the fender in front of the fire .xstarday afternoon. Her clothing vas smouldering and her back was .erribly burned. Her daughter was ■"'■J work, and the discovery was mule when the landlady went into he room to place coal on the fire.
