The chairman of the meeting was empowered to promote a Bill for consideration at the ensuing session of Parliament having for its object , the wish that Parliament would give preference to clubs holding one-day meetings. All were present at a deputation to Sir James Cairo]l this morning to lay before him the resolutions passed and the giievances under which country clubs are suffering
