So much has been written in the London Daily Press regarding this remarkable play, and such considerable comment excited over its intrinsic merits, that it is no wonder that more than ordinary interest is being provoked in its presentation on Wednesday next. “The Bad Gill of the Family” is now running simultaneously at two London theatres, while no less than four dramatic companies are touring with it through the English provinces. “What its charm especially is,” remarked one gentleman ciitio who saw the play several times at the Aldwych Theatre, “one cannot exactly define, but it gets held of you, embraces you with its atmosphere, and completely envelops you to the oblivion of all surrounding eruditions.” Its author, Frederick Melville, lias long been known as an cpsayor cf daring attempts, but in The Bai Girl of the Family” he has absolutely eclipsed all Ids previous, efforts and achievements. The box pian for tin's nroduction will be opened at Grubb’s Music Warehouse on Monday morning at 9 a.m.
