THE RECENT FIRE.
The recent: fire at a well-known hoarding house in this town has caused a great deal of comment. It was a distressing incident, and as it followed so closely in the wake of several other disastrous fires one cannot but confess that things appear unsatisfactory. In contrast to this very unsatisfactory state of affairs, we would like to point out that when the geniv men who bad suffered severe losses visited the “Cash Boot Arcade” they wore fie I jj by Mr Lewis, m a the very host footwear at most reasonable . prices, and with a marked absence of “difficulty.” This was a turn in the right direction, and as a result, these wearers of “Faultless Footwear” are able to walk in safety and comfort.*
