NICOLA, AMERICA’S GREAT MAGICIAN. After twenty years of success on the American and European continents, Nicola, the magician, decided to tour the world and compete against the world’s magicians. In Shanghai, China, the attendance record tor their biggest theatre was shattered: long before the time for the drew to commence the police stopped the sale of tickets and thousands were turrea away unable to secure seats. Wednesday’s excellent picture programme was repeated last night to a fair audience, all of whom were loud in their praise of the various hlms submitted. The programme will be put on for the last- time to-morrow night, and those who have not seen it should not-miss the opportunity. Skating continues brisk at the Coronation Rink, last revening the Rink being particularly Avail filled* dimming the evening the gentlemep kjndly entertained the ladies with inents, everyone having ad 'euioVnble time. ' The Rink is open every afternoon and evening.
