Wellington, July 1 ) Unticng allowances amounting to £l2 R» 13s were granted to seventeen contriorders by the Railway Superannuation Board at its quarterly meeting to-day Allowances to five'widows ad six children of deceased contributors were approved, involving an annua; charge of £l6B', and £l2 13s 7cl was orckfrecl to bo repaid do a member repi.estr.ting the difference between the- - benefits received and his actual conti ibutions. To 110 members of flic service who .have.resigned oy have retired- from',various causes, refunds; of contributions wore authorised totalling £3050 17s sd.
