GIRL PEACE SCOUTS.
“AT HOME.’ The Gill Peace Scouts held then first “At Homo” in tho Salvation Army Hall on 'Times lay cvcmrg, and all present voted .t a great success. There were over GO present. M McKay, chief Scoutmistress, Mrs Davis (Scornmistress), and Mrs ilir&s (.secretary) acted as hostesses. A very enjoyable musical ivogrammo was arranged by Troop-Sergeant Cramer, who also accompanied the peifonners. Songs were sung by Scouts F. Fielder, E. Clark, V. Childs, I. Boon, H. Henry; recitations by Scouts D. Robson and E. Ruding.s; piano and violin selection by Snout Cramer, and • a piano solo by Scout Joyce Raikes, and a duet by Scouts CbiiK an I V. Lodge.
The Book T'tlo.was «on by Scouts D. Cramer and Edna CRH;, eac'" .securing 29 ritles out of 'lt. Tie; prize was a silver ,-Jioeaorn and 1 uf ton he ok. The junior , rize tor la ok 1 ;tic was won by Scout 1). Robson with 23 titles. The prize was a teapot. Tho proverbs caused much excitement, and Miss Hopkins proved (he successful competitor-, completing 29, and winning a silver jam spoon. The Observation Prize (a’sdvor hat pin) 1 was won by Scout M. Umacho, who stated the exact number of articles, 29. Miss Hopkins guessed 3°. 'i’he Guessing Competition was won by Scout M. Clark, the prize being a volume of Scott’s poems. Supper was served by tho Soma, and all left for their homes having spent an enjoyable evening.
