' London, July 7. The dockers at Sunderland have secured an increase
The dockers’ strike in Glasgow has collapsed. Mr Askwith says the conference at Manchester is favourably progressing. The waterside workers have arranged to handle perishable goods. (Received 8, 9.20 a.m.) London, July 7. The strike situation in Glasgow is improving. The coasting dockers have resumed work. The Salford miners resume on Monday, and some mills have restarted.
