THE BORES AT MOTUROA. The Xo. 3 Tore of the Taranaki Petroleum Company at Motnroa is now drilled to a depth of 4015 ft. The original intention was to drill to 4000 feet. The directors are now taking steps to test the deposits of oil at this depth, and yesterday they purchased from the Standard Oil Company 3500 feet of 2in. casing and a complete pumping plant. This easing will bo phi cod in the well, and the oil allowed to How. It lias been flowing for fame time between the casings in f drV good omintities, and in about a week it will be seen what the well is fr-.ing to !'<e capable of.
