MARITIME STRIKE.
(Received 5, 8.5 a.m.) London, July 4. The strikers at Glasgow became riotous. The police made a number of baton charges, dispersing the mob. Many rioters were arrested. The president of tho Chamber of Shipping and other influential London shipowners have agreed to meet a representative of the National Transport Workers’ Federation, and discuss the situation.
