THE RECIPROCITY WAR. o (Received 23, 8.5 a.m.) Washington, June 23. The Senate Finance Committee lias refused to reconsider, as ordered, ti e Woollen Mill and Farmers’ Free List) Bill, and are returning them to the Senate to take the same chances as the Canadian Reo'orocitv Bill. The committee reported on both adversely. It is noiv conceded that reciprocity's path is more difficult than ever. The Republicans do not desire to accept Democratic Bills. There is a strong objection to the Wool Bill, particularly by Democrats, who will piobably offer a ’Tool Bill as an amendment to reciprocity. A bitter fight is expected.
