J. Linn, Toko, wrote drawing the Council’s attention to the drain on Standish Road, which overflowed on his property.—Referred to Engineer and Cr. Walter to report to next meeting. The Clerk of the Taranaki Land Board stated, regarding section 30, block IX., Natimaru, that the Board was not prepared to recommend any expenditure in the matter of ellog t,;o creek tin ppi the section l it n nil offer tile land fo pul l’c com petition for cash at an upset price of £-1 lUs per aero, with estimated value of timber added thereto.—Received. The Hon. R. McKenzie wrote promising that the matter of a grant for metalling the Mangaohu Road would receive attention when the Estimates were being framed.—Received. The Town Clerk, Stratford, under date June f)th, wrote that the outlet to the culvert under Broadway in section 707 was blocked. As the section was the property of the Council, he asked that a workman remove the obstruction and regulate the outlet sd as to guard against further stoppage.—Referred to the Engineer.

The Hon. R. McKenzie wrote that the Council’s request for a grant for the purpose of re-inslitiug portion of York Road near the Mount Egmont Reserve would receive careful consideration.*—Received.
