MISHAP TO TAKAPUNA.

The Takapnna, which this week took up the Mapourika’s West Coast passenger run, nacl a narrow escape from disaster when entering the Bailer River to-day. The Takapuna’A stern post was caiiicd away. it is' understood the vessel is leaking, hut the full extent of the damage in not known.
