FIRES.
(Pur Press Association.) Wellington, June 2i. A house o}' seven rooms on HolloRoad, MUchditowu, owned by T. Kelly, and occupied l>y J. T. Harlis, was totally destroyed by lire last tdght, together with the contents. The house was insured in the Commercial Lnion lor CSOU, and the furniture and effects in the,State Cilice for Clot). The lire was caused hy.tiic accidental upsetting of a kerosene lamp. NATIONAL BANK. (Per Press Association.) Wellington, dime 21. The National Rank lias received advice from London of the declaration ol a dividend of G per cent, for the half-year, and a ..bonus to share- _ nolders of 1 \per cent., .equalling Id per cent, in all for the year ended March 31st. A bonus was granted to the staff.
