Mr. Carmichael told a deputation rcpresonting the # Steamship Owners' Federation and Merchants that the Government had provided an additional £160,000 for resumptions in connection with removing the congestion along the water front, besides extensive 'works in progress. To this end the Harbour Trust proposed finishing within fifteen months a road eighty to a hundred feet wide round the harbour, from Circular Quay to Kent Street. I’', *
