TARANAKI COMPANY. , Mr Keith, manager of the Taranaki Petroleum Company, reports that at No. 3 boro drilling is proceeding satisfactorily. The Imio is now down 1002 feet, and a strong seam of gas, with a fair amount or oil, was struck at n depth of 3!)!Fi feet. The born is now going through good country. The boro is Mowing as usual. At 0.30 on Wednesday night there was a slight blow-mil. Not 2 bore is flowing as usual. No. o bore is now down to a depth of IXOO font. Drilling is proceeding satisfactorily through good papa country.—“ News.”
