For the best part of the second spell there was no score, a lot of loose work taking place. Towards the end of the game Tukapa attacked strongly, and from a loose rush Brown sent out to G. Lovcgrovc, who, being tackled, passed to Perry, who passed to Efcohr, the latter going over with a spirited spurt. The kick was an easy one, hut Stolir failed, the game ending with the score throe to nil in Tnkapa’s favour. SECOND GRADE. Stnfferd travelled to Inglewood and defeated the homo team by 30 to nil. Mr. F. Spurdle refereed. ASSOCIATION. Strafford were at home to Eltham yesterday, and ran out winners by 4 goals to 1. Stratford won the toss, and had a slight wind in their favour, but Eltham were the first to attack, and East had to clear. Stratford then took up the running on the loft, and Boalo centred. Elthaui’s back, however, miskickod and let in Schofield, who scored with a fine cross shot. On the re-start, play continued in midfield for some time, and neither goal keeper was troubled very much. Butch art, however, sent Stratford’s front lino going again, and Schofield added No. 2 from a pass by Allen. Soon after this, Schofield scored again tlivough a penalty for hands, given against Wade, and half-time arrived with Stratford loading hv 3 goals (<> °. In the second spoil, Eltham started off with a rush and forced a corner, from which Wade scored. Play continued very fast after this, and a combined forward rush by.the home forwards eventuated in Schofield completing the score with his foui ch goal. Eltham had hard luck after this in having a point disallowed for offside. The game was splendidly fought throughout, and fouls were rare ou hot!) sides. Schofield and Allen were the pick of a good forward line, ard Steve Bloomer and Bonncll were safe at back while Butchart was the pick of the halves. This win now places Stratford at tlu l head of the table, which now roads' as follows :
