IMPRESSIVE FUNERAL CEREMONY. (Per Press Association. 1 ) Christchurch, Last Night. The funeral of the late Dean Ginaty, 3.M., Vicar-General of the Roman Catholic diocese of Christchurch, took place .o-day. Before .tho funeral left St. Mary’s Manchester-street North, a service was held there at «-30 a.m. The ortegc proceeded to the Cathedral, in iarfcndocs-street, where a solemn pennies! requiem mass l was celebrated by lordship Bishop Grimes, in the pre,ence of a very large congregation!. The service was a lengthy and impressive one. At tho solemn,requiem masis, tho Very l?v. Dean Regnault, S.M. Provincial, >cted as assistant priest. The A cry Hey Archdeacon Devoy, S.M.. of South Wcr higton, and the Very Rev. Dean O’Donicll of Ashburton, two former curates ■if Dean'Ginaty (when he was Missionary Rector of Christchurch) acted as isisistant priests. At. tho throne the acvl Fathers Hoare, S.AI., and Dignan -?.M. {later curates of the Dean) were leacon and sub-deacon respectively of lie mass. Among the other clergy present were he Very Rev.
