The directors of the Stratford Dairy Company have appointed Mr. Win. M. Kirkman, of Frakton Junction, to the position of factory manager. A largo number of applications were received, and the directors had a very difficult task in making a selection as I ho majority of applicants had excellent testimonials, and were fully qualified to fill the position. Mr. Kirkman has very high credentials from past and present employers, the Now Zealand Dairy Association, whose factory at Francton Junction ho has been manager of for the last seven years. The output of that factory is 800 tons of butter per annum, and supplies of cream are drawn from tho central factory and sixteen creameries.
