WANGANUI MEETING. (Per Press Association.) Wanganui, May 24. The weather is perfect for the first day of the Wanganui J.C. winter meeting. There is a largo attendance, and the track is in good order. Results Borough Handicap.—Faunus 1, Mon Ami 2, Tumut 3. All started. Won by a length. Time, Imin 15 l-ssec. Electric Hack.—Lady Kilcheran 1, Kina 2, Gaby 3 Scratched: Ma.kara, Mortite, Tobias. Won by a length, half a length between second and' third. Time, Imin 15 4-ssec. Steeplechase.—Corozoii 1, Eldorado 2, Mount Cook 3. All started. Corona lost her rider. Winchester fell half a mile from home, when racing .with the leaders. A grand race. Won J>y half a length, a length between second and third. Time, (imin 3sec.
