MR CHURCHILL BACK IN BRITAIN

(Rec. 7 p.m.) LONDON, October 6. Mr Churchill arrived at Hendon by air wearing the uniform of a colonel of the 4th Queen’s Own Hussars. Mr Churchill, who looked fit, said he had had an exceptionally fine trip. Asked by a reporter about the understanding that the five Powers would attend the peace conference, he said he had nothing to say and did not know of the Potsdam Agreement.
