ANNUAL SKIING MATCH AT QUEENSTOWN
Seven Teams To Compete For Wigley Cup
Seven teams, representing the Aorangi, Canterbury, North Otago, Otago, Otago University, Wakatipu and Southland Ski Clubs, will compete for the Wigley Cup at Queenstown this month. The competition will be held at Coronet Peak on August 25 and 26. Each team will comprise six skiers—three men and three women. The Southland team has not yet been selected. The competition will be decided on the results'of a slalom and a downhill run.. The cup has been held by the Otago Ski Club since 1943.
