REMANDED. — Cecil .. Alexander
Wright, labourer and journalist, appeared before Mr R. C. Abernethy, S.M., in the Magistrate’s Court yesterday charged with the theft of a Holy Bible, valued at 10/-, and with issuing a valueless cheque for 19/-. He was remanded to appear on August 8, bail in two sureties of £25 each being allowed.
