Under the will of the late John Slater Shaw, who died at Gore on April 5, the Public Trustee is appointed executor and trustee. Subject to a prior life annuity, the residue of the estate, after payment of a legacy of £5OO to the Holy Trinity Anglican Church for the building fund of the church, is to be divided into five parts to pay one of such parts to each of the following:— (1) The Anglican Boys’ Orphanage, Anderson’s Bay, Dunedin. (2) The Anglican Girls’ Orphanage, Anderson’s Bay, Dunedin. (3) The Anglican Melanesian Mission. (4) The Roman Catholic Maori Mission. (5) The Makogai Leper Fund New Zealand, (Mr P. J. Twomey, Secretary, Christchurch).
