CALEDONIAN SPORTS AT TIMARU

Invercargill Dancer Wins Championships Considerable success in the dancing section of the Caledonian Sports held at Timaru on New Year’s Day was gained by Miss Kathleen Eunson, of Invercargill. She won the South Canterbury championships for the Seann Truibhas and the Irish Jig, the Sutherland Memorial Challenge Cup, the Scottish Society’s Cup and the Mackay Challenge Cup for the most points won in the dancing section. She was also first in the Sword Dance and Highland Fling, under 12, and the Seann Truibhas, under 14.
