90th Consecutive Success Last week was the best week for national savings since the Victory Loan campaign. The amount received was £3796, exceeding the district quota of £3llO by £686 and recording the district’s 90th consecutive weekly success. The best results were: Invercargill, £2360 (quota £1634); Queenstown, £BO9 (quota £52). Southland’s total since April 1 last is £150,243. The annual quota of £161,720 is due by March 31, 1945. The following 19 places filled their quotas:—lnvercargill, Arrowtown, Balfour, Bluff, Edendale, Gore, Lumsden, Nightcaps, Ohai, Orepuki, Otautau, Queenstown, Riverton, Thornbury, Tuatapere, Waikaia, Waikaka, Winton and Wyndham.
