OLYMPIC GAMES AT LONDON?

(Rec. 10.30 p.m.) NEW YORK, Dec. 13. A proposal that Germany and Japan be invited to participate in the next Olympic Games was howled down by 100 delegates of the U.S.A. Sports Federation, which 4s the interim body of the American Olympic Committee. Speakers pointed out that Germany did not compete at Antwerp in 1920 or at Paris in 1924 but, after a cooling off period, was invited to Amsterdam in 1928. Colonel Evan Hunter, secretary of the British Olympic Association, urged that the games be held at London, which despite a battering from the blitz and robot bombs, would be ready as soon as possible after the return of peace. The games, however, should not be held prematurely, he said.
