SWITZERLAND TO SEND FOOD TO BELGIUM
(P.A.) WELLINGTON, December 13. Advice has been received from London by the Consul-General of Belgium in New Zealand that an agreement has been concluded between the Belgian and Swiss Governments for the dispatch of food to Belgium. Switzerland will supply Belgium with food and medical supplies to the value of 16,000,000 Belgian francs. Belgium will send flax, linen thread, citric acid and other goods to Switzerland of equivalent value.
