FOUND ON PREMISES.— A. woman, whose name was suppressed, appeared in the Magistrate’s Court yesterday before Mr R. C. Abernethy, S.M., on a charge of being found on premises without lawful excuse, but in circumstances that did. not disclose the commission of, or intent to commit, any other offence. Detective-Sergeant T. Smith said the accused had gone to a house and after knocking at the door and receiving no reply had lifted a window. The woman of the house, who was resting, called out and the accused ran down the garden and hid, but was recognized. The magistrate convicted the accused and she'was admitted to probation fog one year. j
