CLEARING SALE AT OTAMA

A successful clearing sale was held on the property of Mr A. D. J. McPhail, Otama, who has‘sold his farm. The sale, which was conducted by Wright, Stephenson and Co., Ltd., in conjunction with J. G. Ward and Co., Ltd,, was only moderately attended, as

the day was fine and an inducement to farmers to make up leeway with their seasonal work, which is backward as a result of recent adverse weather. Competition, nevertheless, was spirited in all cases, and good prices were realized for all live and dead stock.
