COTTON INDUSTRY IN DANGER

Special Investigation In United States (Rec. 7.30 p.m.) WASHINGTON, December 3. A special House Agricultural Committee is tomorrow beginning an investigation into methods of rescuing the cotton industry from its dangerous plight due to competition from foreign cotton and American synthetic fibres. Foreign nations are sending representatives to the' committee’s sessions.

It is pointed out that American cotton prices are too high to compete effectively against synthetic, Brazilian and other foreign cotton.
