LONGSWORD MAY BE FAVOURED

(Special) WELLINGTON, October 22. The weather has remained overcast with an occasional drizzle over the weekend and the going for the second day of the Wellington meeting tomorrow wiR be similar to the conditions on Saturday. A feature of the programme will be a meeting between Kindergarten and Lord Chancellor in the Harcourt Stakes, in which there is the likelihood of a good-sized field.

Glenfalloch is a doubtful starter. Several horses have two engagements. It is understood that Gulf Stream will run in the Pearce Handicap, Sir Bradbury in the Awatea Handicap, Longsword in the Heretaunga Handicap and Conspicuous in the Pearce Handicap.
