PATRIOTIC WORK AT LOCHIEL— As a result of the visit of a number of patriotic workers to Lochiel on Wednesday evening, plans were considered for continuing the effort in the district, which has already contributed over £9OO to the funds. Mr W. J. Bennett, chairman of the Central Zone Committee, presided, and other speakers included Mrs Stanley Brown and Mrs J. Mcllwraith, Mr A. Wachner, chairman of the Provincial Council, and Messrs E. Boyd, J. Pickard and K. A. McKenzie.
