SOLDIERS WELCOMED HOME

A concert and dance was held in the Woodlands Hall on Thursday evening in* honour of four returned soldiers who were returning to civil life after service overseas. They were Messrs J. Henderson, A. Briggs, T. Jones and P. Jones. Mr J. Middlemiss, chairman of the social branch of the Woodlands Patriotic Committee, presented each of the guests with a framed illuminated address. Other speakers were the Rev. G. Dallard and Mr A. Witting, chairman of the Patriotic Committee.
