VEGETABLE PRICES
Slight Changes Made Slight seasonal changes in the limit retail prices for carrots and cabbages come into effect today. These changes are provided for in the all-the-year-round vegetable price order. The limit retail price for carrots is reduced by ijd per lb all over New Zealand. The limit price for cabbages remains unchanged in the North Island; Nelson and Marlborough, but elsewhere is increased by |d per lb. A full schedule of‘ the limit retail prices payable during April in Canterbury and Otago is as follows:— Per lb.. Potatoes l|d. Onions 2jd. Pickier onions 3.;d, Cabbage 2Jd. Carrot ijd. ' Parsnips 2£d. Swedes Id. Silver beet 3|d. Pumpkin 3|d. Kumera 4fd.
