PARADES OF GORE HOME GUARD

Return Of Equipment ’ Except for bgots and socks, members of the Gore Battalion of the Home Guard will be required to return all items of equipment which have been issued at parades to be called this month. Before the clothing is handed back, shoulder patches should be removed from uniforms. Home Guardsmen are prohibited from retaining their greatcoats. AH articles are the property of the Army. In the case of lost articles of equipment the cost must be refunded, and if they are found later an obligation still rests on men to return them. A refund will then be made of the money pgid. That is the condition for payment for lost articles. The retention of equipment without lawful authority is subject to heavy penalties.
