CYCLING ROAD RACE The Invercargill Amateur Athletic Cycling Club conducted a 28-mile road race on Saturday. J. Murdoch, from the two-minute mark, completed a good “double” by winning the race and gaining fastest time. The placings were:—J. Murdoch (2min.) 1, W. Murdoch (smin.) 2. A. Dawson (smin.) 3, H. Hubber (scr) 4. Time, Ihr 14min 24sec. MEN’S HOCKEY DRAW The draw for the Southland men’s hockey competition matches to be played at Queen’s Park on Saturday is as follows:— Senior.—Colours v.
