Fixtures For Saturday Following are the fixtures and referees for Rugby games on Saturday:— Seniors.—lnvercargill Old Boys v. MaristBluff at Rugby Park, 3 p.m. (Mr R. G. Webb). Juniors.—Seaward Downs v. Mataura at Seaward Downs, 2 p.m. (own referee); Borstal v. Wyndham at Borstal, 2 p.m. (Mr C. Anderson); High School v. Collegiate at Rugby Park, 2.15 p.m. (Mr H. Smith); Old Boys v. Invercargill at Biggar street No. 2, 2 p.m. (Mr G. Agnew). Fourth Grade.—Marist v. High School at School, 2 p.m. (Mr J. Aitken); Pirates-Star v. Bluff at Bluff, 2.45 p.m. (Mr B. Mitchell); Invercargill v. Technical at Biggar street No. 3,2 p.m. (Mr G. Stoddart); Collegiate v. A.T.C. at Tweed street, 1.45 p.m. (Mr F. Fox). Fifth Grade.—Marist v. Technical at Rugby Park, 1.30 p.m. (Mr J. Miles); School A v. School B at School, 2 p.m. (Mr J. Davis); Pirates a bye, Emergency referee.—Mr J. North. CYCLING ROAD RACE The Invercargill Amateur Athletic Cycling Club conducted a 28-mile road race on Saturday. J. Murdoch, from the two-minute mark, completed a good “double” by winning the race and gaining fastest time. The placings were:—J. Murdoch (2min.) 1, W. Murdoch (smin.) 2. A. Dawson (smin.) 3, H. Hubber (scr) 4. Time, Ihr 14min 24sec. MEN’S HOCKEY DRAW The draw for the Southland men’s hockey competition matches to be played at Queen’s Park on Saturday is as follows:— Senior.—Colours v. High School, No. 3, 2.30 p.m. (Messrs F. Hinton and J. Chisnail); Whites v. Blues No. 4, 2.30 p.m. (Messrs G. J. Hope and W. R. Curwen); Technical College a bye. Junior.—High School A v. High School B, No. 1, 1.30 p.m. (Messrs H. Semmens and H. Rennick); Murihiku v. Technical College, No. 4, 1.30 p.m. (Messrs N. Poole and A. E. Dakin).
