MENINGITIS OUTBREAK

(P.A.) AUCKLAND, June 28. Although the number of cases has not reached thp epidemic proportions of last June, when there were 25 positive cases in Auckland, cerebro-spinal meningitis is prevalent in the Auckland Central Health District. The medical officer of health, Dr T. J. Hughes, said that since the beginning of the month 14 positive cases had been reported in the district, which extended'from Rodney County to Mercer.
