SOLDIERS ENTERTAINED

BROWNS.— The following men were entertained at Browns: Privates W. McLean and K. Harvey, Sapper A. D. Campbell and Signaller A. Lapthorne. The gathering was presided over by Mr T. Mcßae, chairman of the Patriotic Committee. Presentations were made and Mrs W. E. Henderson presented each man with a parcel of comforts from the W.D.F.U. Miss Goldie Dalzell handed each a gift from the school children. DRUMMOND.— Mr J. Kincaid, chairman of the Drummond Patriotic Committee, made a presentation to Private Alan Kennedy. A number of visiting soldiers were also entertained.
